Jr Sous Chef

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join the culinary team at LUPA. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in handling and cooking beef, pork, and other meats, with a solid understanding of European cuisine and professional kitchen operations. Candidates with experience in large-scale or international kitchens will be preferred. The role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, leadership ability, and the capability to perform efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environmen Key Responsibilities: Manage daily kitchen operations and support the Sous Chef during service. Prepare and execute high-quality beef, pork, poultry, and meat dishes. Ensure consistent taste, presentation, portioning, and cooking standards across dishes. Maintain proper mise en place for smooth and efficient kitchen operations. Lead junior kitchen staff and ensure effective teamwork during service. Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness. Monitor ingredient usage, storage, wastage, and overall kitchen efficiency. Qualifications: 4–6 years of culinary experience in reputed or large-scale kitchens. Strong hands-on experience with beef, pork, poultry, and meat preparations. International or overseas kitchen experience will be highly preferred. Good knowledge of European cuisine and modern cooking techniques. Strong leadership skills with ability to perform under pressure.
