Java Backend / Microservices Engineer 📍 Location: Chennai, India 📌 Experience: 4+ Years About the Role: We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Microservices, Kafka, and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable APIs, services, and microservices-based applications. Build and maintain distributed and multi-tier enterprise systems. Develop high-performance backend solutions using Java and Python. Integrate applications with Kafka, relational databases, and NoSQL databases. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions. Ensure application reliability, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to deliver business requirements. Contribute to CI/CD implementation and automation initiatives. Required Skills 4+ years of software development experience. Strong programming skills in Java and Python. Experience with Spring Boot or Vert.x frameworks. Hands-on experience with Kafka. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices Architecture. Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments. Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns. Preferred Skills Experience with GCP. Exposure to distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
