What You’ll Do (When You Join Us) We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who enables fast, reliable, and repeatable software delivery through automation, infrastructure as code, and operational excellence . This role focuses on building and operating CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and container platforms that work reliably under real production conditions. Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines that support frequent, reliable releases Automate infrastructure and environment provisioning using infrastructure as code principles Improve system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response automation Enable application teams by standardizing DevOps workflows and reducing manual effort Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and runtime issues across environments Automate operational tasks across the application lifecycle (build, deploy, scale, recover) What We Look For We value technical mastery and a continuous learning mindset. If you have the following, we’d love to start a conversation: Academic Foundation: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Linux & Systems : Strong hands on experience with Linux environments. Ability to troubleshoot system level issues (processes, networking, disk, memory). CI/CD & Automation: Ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Experience automating workflows to reduce manual intervention and deployment risk. Ability to debug pipeline failures and improve reliability over time. Infrastructure as Code & Configuration: Hands on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning. Experience using Ansible or similar tools for configuration management Containers & Orchestration: Strong experience with Docker and containerized workloads. Practical knowledge of Kubernetes: deployments, services, scaling, configuration, and troubleshooting. Cloud Platforms: Hands on experience with AWS and/or Azure Scripting & Data: Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate operational tasks. Working knowledge of SQL for operational queries, troubleshooting, and analysis. Reliability & Operations: Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging systems. Why Connect Now? If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
