Job Description – Accountant Location: Dubai, UAE Company: Quest Group DMCC Employment Type: Full-time, On-site Role Overview Quest Group DMCC is seeking an experienced and reliable Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing day-to-day accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable UAE financial and tax regulations. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting and financial records. Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Monitor payments, receivables, expenses, and cash flow. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensure compliance with applicable UAE tax laws and financial regulations. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial transactions. Liaise with internal departments, banks, auditors, and external parties as required. Assist management with financial analysis and other accounting-related matters. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field . Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience . Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Practical experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Good knowledge of UAE tax laws and regulations . Proven experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
