Saud International School is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to support the school’s finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting fee collection, preparing reports, handling invoices and payments, and ensuring that all financial documentation is properly organized and compliant with school procedures. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting and financial transactions. Maintain accurate records of payments, receipts, invoices, expenses, and financial documents. Support student fee collection, payment follow-ups, and account reconciliation. Prepare and update financial reports as required by school management. Handle supplier invoices, payment records, purchase documentation, and related follow-ups. Coordinate with parents regarding fee payments, balances, receipts, and account-related inquiries. Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records. Assist with payroll-related information, staff deductions, reimbursements, and financial updates when required. Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data. Support budgeting, expense tracking, and internal financial reporting. Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal departments when needed. Ensure confidentiality of all financial and employee-related information. Follow school finance policies, accounting procedures, and internal control requirements. Support audits, inspections, and management reviews by preparing required documents and reports. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience. Experience in a school or educational organization is preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting procedures, financial documentation, and reconciliation. Good understanding of invoices, receipts, payments, fee collection, and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and follow-up skills. Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Professional attitude and strong organizational skills. Preferred Candidate Profile Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented. Able to manage financial records accurately and efficiently. Professional in dealing with parents, staff, vendors, and management. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow up on pending matters. Able to work independently while also coordinating with the finance and administration teams. Previous experience in a school finance department is an advantage.
