Job Title: Stock Auditor Location: Hyderabad Department: Audit Reports To: Audit Lead / Management Job Summary Krishna Jewellers Pearls & Gems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a meticulous and trustworthy Stock Auditor to oversee inventory accuracy across our jewellery showrooms. The role involves conducting regular stock verification, identifying discrepancies, ensuring compliance with inventory processes, and maintaining accurate records of Gold, Diamond, Silver, Pearl, and Gemstone jewellery. Key Responsibilities Stock Verification & Audit Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock audits in showroom locations. Physically verify jewellery inventory against ERP/system records. Check product codes, weights, purity details, stone details, and inventory tags for accuracy. Verify inward and outward stock movements, including sales, returns, repairs, exchanges, and transfers. Identify stock shortages, excess stock, and inventory mismatches. Inventory Reconciliation Reconcile physical stock with inventory records and audit reports. Investigate discrepancies and determine root causes. Ensure timely closure of inventory variances and audit observations. Maintain accurate records of audit findings and corrective actions. Process Compliance Ensure adherence to company stock handling and inventory control procedures. Verify proper documentation for stock movements and approvals. Monitor compliance with showroom inventory security protocols. Support implementation of internal controls to prevent inventory losses. Reporting & Analysis Prepare audit reports highlighting discrepancies, observations, and recommendations. Submit periodic inventory status reports to management. Analyze inventory trends and recurring issues to improve stock accuracy. Assist management during annual and periodic stock audits. Coordination Coordinate with Store Managers, Sales Teams, Operations, and Finance Departments. Support stock-taking activities during exhibitions, events, and special inventory counts. Assist in implementing process improvements related to inventory management. Qualifications B.Com, BBA, MBA, or any Bachelor's Degree. Certification in Audit, Accounting, or Inventory Management is an added advantage. Experience 2–5 years of experience in Stock Audit, Inventory Audit, Internal Audit, or Inventory Control. Experience in Jewellery Retail, Gold, Diamond, Silver, or Luxury Retail industry preferred.
