Amplity is partnering with an innovative clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing transformative therapies for patients with significant unmet medical needs. We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Science Liaison (CSL) to support a global clinical development program focused on Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) , a rare, progressive, and life-threatening disease. As a member of a global field-based clinical team, the CSL will act as a key scientific and operational partner to investigators, clinical trial sites, and internal stakeholders across Latin America. This role will focus on supporting site engagement, patient recruitment, study start-up, and clinical trial execution, helping to ensure the successful delivery of ongoing and future clinical studies. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of clinical development, medical affairs, and rare disease innovation while collaborating with leading experts across Colombia, Chile, and Mexico. Clinical Development Focus Play a key role in supporting global Phase II/III clinical studies and contribute directly to study success. International Exposure Build relationships with investigators, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders across multiple Latin American markets. Career Development Develop your expertise in clinical development, rare diseases, patient recruitment strategies, and stakeholder engagement within a global organization. What You'll Do Clinical Trial Support Act as the primary scientific and operational liaison between clinical trial sites and global study teams. Support ongoing and future company-sponsored clinical trials, with a strong focus on study start-up, site engagement, patient recruitment, and retention. Partner with study sites to overcome barriers to enrollment, protocol adherence, and study execution. Support site activation activities, including Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), investigator engagement, and early trial planning. Foster collaboration between investigators, study coordinators, CROs, Clinical Operations, and Medical Affairs teams. Investigator & KOL Engagement Develop and maintain trusted relationships with Principal Investigators (PIs), study coordinators, healthcare professionals, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Identify and support referral pathways and investigator networks to facilitate patient identification and recruitment. Serve as a scientific resource for study sites and research teams throughout the trial lifecycle. Engage in balanced scientific exchange and respond appropriately to medical and scientific inquiries. Scientific Education Deliver scientific education on disease state, study protocols, clinical trial objectives, and emerging clinical data. Communicate complex scientific information clearly and effectively to healthcare professionals and research teams. Maintain expertise in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, cardiopulmonary diseases, rare diseases, and clinical research. Strategic Insights & Collaboration Gather and communicate actionable field insights from sites, investigators, and stakeholders. Collaborate closely with Clinical Operations and Medical Affairs teams to optimize study performance and enrollment strategies. Identify opportunities for future clinical research sites and investigator engagement. Support the organization’s scientific presence and reputation across the region. Compliance Conduct all activities in accordance with applicable regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), company policies, and ethical standards. Ensure compliance with all training requirements and reporting obligations. Maintain the highest standards of scientific integrity in all interactions. What We're Looking For Education Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, or a related scientific discipline. Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc) preferred. Experience Experience in clinical research, clinical development, Medical Affairs, or field medical roles such as CSL, MSL, CRA, CTL, or related functions. Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, site engagement, and patient recruitment strategies. Experience working directly with investigators, study coordinators, and healthcare professionals. Experience within Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH), Cardiovascular Diseases, Pulmonology, Cardiology, or Rare Diseases is highly preferred. Previous biotech or clinical-stage pharmaceutical company experience is an advantage. Skills & Competencies Strong scientific communication and presentation skills. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across global and cross-functional teams. Strong project management and organizational skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach. High ethical standards and sound scientific judgment. Languages Fluent English (mandatory). Fluent Spanish (mandatory). Portuguese would be considered an advantage. Travel Requirements Willingness to travel extensively across Colombia, Chile, and Mexico. Expected travel requirements of approximately 50–70% . International travel will be required to support regional and global clinical development activities. Valid passport and driver's license required.
