Day-to-Day: We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Tools Support Engineer to administer, support, and enhance our internal engineering platforms—Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, GitLab , Perforce and Code Collaborator. The ideal candidate will ensure these systems are secure, stable, scalable, and well‑integrated across the enterprise, while providing technical support to development, QA, and IT teams. This role is responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing a suite of engineering and collaboration tools, including Jira Software Management, Confluence, GitLab, Perforce, and Code Collaborator. The individual will manage system configurations, workflows, permissions, CI/CD pipelines, source control environments, and code review processes while serving as a liaison between R&D and IT to drive issue resolution and platform improvements. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex technical issues, supporting incident response and root cause analysis, coordinating vendor escalations, and ensuring platform reliability and performance. The role also oversees security and compliance initiatives, including SSO access controls, SSL/TLS certificate management, patching, vulnerability remediation, and adherence to organizational standards.
