About The Role Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Architecture, the role is responsible for supporting the delivery of digital solutions across ITS, including transformation initiatives. The role contributes to the development, testing, integration and support of applications and platform components that are reliable, practical and fit for purpose. The responsibilities of the Developer & Tester will include, but are not limited to: Developing, configuring and maintaining applications, integrations and platform components Supporting system interfaces and integrations, including links with legacy systems Translating business and technical requirements into practical solutions Undertaking testing, debugging, defect resolution and deployment support Preparing technical documentation and support materials Identifying technical risks, issues and dependencies, and escalating where needed Contributing to continuous improvement and agile delivery practices Working collaboratively across project and operational teams The role requires demonstrated experience working in application development, systems integration or platform support, with the ability to deliver reliable and maintainable technology solutions. You communicate clearly, work well with others and bring a proactive, adaptable approach to your work. You will bring: Experience in application development, systems integration or platform support Experience with applications, integrations and platform components Experience working with APIs, data flows and legacy system integrations The ability to translate requirements into practical solutions Skills in testing, troubleshooting and documentation Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills A focus on quality, continuous improvement and business outcomes Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline is desirable. Relevant vocational qualifications and certifications in software development, integration, cloud, platforms or agile delivery are also desirable. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
