About The Role As a DevOps Engineer at Foxsense Innovations, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our software development and deployment processes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our systems, enabling faster and more efficient delivery of software solutions. Responsibilities Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Ensure scalability, security, and performance of infrastructure components. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes. Streamline and optimize build and deployment workflows with development teams. Configuration Management Manage and configure application servers, databases, and infrastructure using tools like Ansible or Puppet. Ensure consistency and reliability across various environments. Monitoring And Logging Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for proactive issue detection. Set up logging infrastructure for efficient troubleshooting and analysis. Collaboration Bridge the gap between development and IT operations through effective collaboration. Provide technical support to ensure smooth production system operations. Security Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks. Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (certifications are a bonus). Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Bonus Skills Strong technical portfolio. Familiarity with advanced security practices for cloud-based systems. What Your First 30-60 Days Will Look Like First 30 days : Onboarding and Integration Complete the onboarding process and familiarize yourself with our tools and workflows. Review the existing infrastructure and identify areas for optimization. Work on a small-scale project to implement or improve a CI/CD pipeline. Collaborate with teams to understand existing challenges and propose solutions. First 60 days : Increasing Responsibility and Contribution Take ownership of medium-sized infrastructure tasks, such as automating repetitive processes or enhancing monitoring solutions. Optimize build and deployment workflows in collaboration with the development team. Propose and begin implementing security enhancements. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
