Lead Functional Consultant – Banking Transformation Location: Trivandrum | Initially office-based; eventually minimum 3 days/week hybrid Experience: Senior-level, 9+Yrs Industry: Banking / Financial Technology The Opportunity We are looking for banking professionals who can consult — and consultants who deeply understand banking. You will work directly with banking clients to understand complex business challenges, challenge assumptions, design scalable solutions and transform critical banking capabilities. This is not a traditional requirements-gathering role. We are looking for someone who can think, advise, design and execute. What You'll Do Lead discovery and consulting discussions with banking clients Understand business processes, pain points and strategic objectives Translate business requirements into scalable functional solutions Lead workshops with business, technology and product stakeholders Advise clients on: Product & Pricing Rates & Fees Billing Offers Deposits & Payments Relationship Pricing Create functional architecture and solution specifications Configure products, pricing, rates, fees, rules and parameters Work closely with Product and Engineering teams Support SIT, UAT and production readiness Build credibility and trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders What We're Looking For Strong experience in Retail, Corporate or Commercial Banking Strong banking transformation or consulting experience Experience in product, pricing, rates, fees and/or billing Ability to lead discovery sessions and client workshops Strong problem structuring and consulting capability Strong client-facing communication Ability to translate business problems into practical solutions Strong hands-on orientation Experience with Temenos, Finastra, Oracle Banking, FIS or Fiserv is an advantage. Ideal Background Candidates from premium banking consulting/strategy practices, core banking technology companies, financial technology organizations or major banking transformation programs.
