Role Description The Welder role at Jamea Al Anwar IFZCO is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The welder is responsible for performing welding operations on industrial components, structures, and assemblies according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Daily tasks include preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, selecting appropriate welding techniques, and inspecting finished welds for quality and accuracy. The role involves collaborating with engineers, technicians, and fabrication teams to support production, maintenance, and repair work for belting systems, conveyor systems, and related engineering products. The welder must follow all safety procedures, maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, and document work performed to meet company quality and compliance requirements. Qualifications Strong welding skills including Welding, Arc Welding, MIG Welding, and TIG Welding, with the ability to choose appropriate methods for different jobs. Knowledge of Materials used in industrial and automotive applications, including understanding of metal properties and suitability for various welding processes. Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols, with attention to detail and quality standards. Familiarity with industrial safety practices, use of personal protective equipment, and safe handling of welding tools and equipment. Prior experience in fabrication, maintenance, or repair within industrial, mechanical, or automotive environments is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Dubai, collaborate in a diverse team, and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines. Vocational training, certification, or formal apprenticeship in welding or a related trade is highly beneficial.
