In addition, our team supports a range of container-based microservices, and you will work with Kubernetes and OpenShift. We also use Hadoop for data storage and processing, along with Apache ecosystem tools such as Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration. For large-scale data processing, streaming, and storage, we use Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Apache Hive. At the same time, we are actively migrating our solutions to the Google Cloud platform. About our team: Analytics and Reporting team in Riga, as part of a group of developers focused on Big Data and reporting solutions. We value ideas and initiatives, and actively share knowledge within the team. Team members have varying levels of experience, and as a more experienced colleague, you will support and guide others by sharing your expertise. We are part of the Accounts & Payments domain, which includes around 350 colleagues across different tech areas and business divisions. As a Cloud Solution Developer at SEB Riga, you will: Build large-scale Big Data solutions for both streaming and batch data using modern technologies. Develop and maintain complex data pipelines and Big Data systems. Perform efficient and high-quality analysis of large-scale transactional data. Participate in the migration of existing solutions to cloud-based platforms and contribute to cloud solution development. Who are you: Experienced in programming with Java (additional will be good experience with Scala, Python). Experience working with Cloud Solutions and infrastructure as code. Your enjoy sharing your knowledge on Big Data tech and tools, and you have an interest in taking on larger responsibilities within agile development. We at SEB work agile with SAFe and it is a plus if you have experience of working within the SAFe framework. Fluent English in verbal and written and good communication skills. Work execution is related to foreign countries. This role includes close contact with your team and other stakeholders, therefore we believe that you are a person with great communication and documentation skills who likes to cooperate with others.
