Description Toradex builds embedded computing modules (SoMs), and every module we ship is validated on our in-house Functional Tester (FCT) platform before it leaves the line. You'll be part of the team who owns and evolves the software behind that platform: the application that drives production testers today and the surrounding infrastructure that turns raw test runs into trustworthy production data. About You You’re an engineer comfortable working and modernizing large C++/Qt codebases. You’re an engineer who can orchestrate refactors and prevent regressions. You understand abstraction layers and can enforce clean C++ standards and best practices. You understand business trade-offs and how they live with the application. You can work in the hardware/software layer. You deeply understand Linux or Embedded Linux and keeps up-to-date with the latest developments in the OS community. Skills Required: Strong C++ (modern C++, CMake/Ninja), ideally with Qt (Qt5/Qt6) experience. Experience in other languages or older C++ standards but appetite to learn is welcomed. Solid Python for tooling, test frameworks, and config/release automation. Experience refactoring and modernizing large legacy codebases while keeping them shippable. Comfort close to hardware: serial/SSH device control, embedded Linux (Yocto), cross-compilation for ARM targets. Working knowledge of CI/CD (GitLab CI), Docker, and code-quality tooling (clang-tidy, static analysis). Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage) Available to work Hybrid from Toradex Office in Campinas/SP. Nice to Have CANopen / fieldbus, and embedded firmware exposure (Zephyr RTOS, STM32). Server-side / backend design: data ingestion pipelines, inventory/config management. Experience with Protocol Buffers and log ingestion systems. Manufacturing / factory-test or production-line software background. Ansible and infrastructure automation.
