Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire Shift Pattern : Monday to Friday - 40 hours. 7am - 3pm or 8am - 4pm About The Role We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operative / Cleaner to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. As a member of our Hygiene Team, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety across our manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout production and ancillary areas. Clean and sanitise production equipment, machinery, workstations, and communal areas. Follow all health, safety, food safety, and hygiene procedures. Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with company guidelines. Complete cleaning schedules and documentation accurately. Support other departments as required to meet operational needs. Identify and report any hygiene, safety, or maintenance concerns. Contribute to creating a safe and clean working environment for all colleagues. What We're Looking For Essential Positive, energetic, and proactive approach to work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and commitment to high standards. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Flexible approach and willingness to work across different departments when required. Good attention to detail. Methodical and organised approach to tasks. Desirable Previous cleaning experience. Experience working within a food manufacturing, food production, or catering environment. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate / Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
