Head – Operations, Planning & Coordination J.K. Project Engineers Pvt. Ltd. | Prayagraj (Head Office) | Relocation Mandatory J.K. Project Engineers, a 40+ year mechanical construction company executing projects for clients including BHEL, NTPC, IOCL, IFFCO, NALCO and L&T , is looking for an experienced Head – Operations, Planning & Coordination to drive execution and timely completion of multiple projects from our Prayagraj Head Office. This is a hands-on leadership role . We need someone who can run multiple sites, identify execution bottlenecks early, coordinate aggressively with site and client teams, and take ownership of project delivery. Key Responsibilities • Plan, schedule and monitor multiple project sites involving piping, tankage, structural fabrication/erection and mechanical works • Conduct daily coordination with site teams and resolve manpower, material, drawing, billing and execution bottlenecks • Drive projects towards timely completion against contractual milestones • Review site productivity, progress versus plan and recovery actions for delayed activities • Coordinate with PSU/EPC clients for execution priorities, approvals and issue resolution • Monitor RA bills, certifications, outstanding payments and collections and actively follow up with clients • Provide management with clear project-wise reporting, critical issues and action plans • Take end-to-end ownership of coordination between Head Office, project sites, clients and subcontractors Mandatory Eligibility — No Deviation • B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project planning, operations and coordination of mechanical construction projects • Experience working with/for PSUs, EPC companies or their mechanical contractors is mandatory • Strong practical exposure to piping and/or tankage, structural and mechanical erection projects • Must have experience handling and coordinating multiple project sites , rather than only monitoring a single project • Strong understanding of project schedules, progress monitoring, billing, RA bills and client payment cycles • Must be willing to relocate to Prayagraj and work from the Head Office Preferred: M.Tech from a reputed IIT/NIT in addition to the mandatory Mechanical Engineering qualification. Candidates from unrelated engineering disciplines or without the required 10+ years of relevant mechanical PSU/EPC planning and coordination experience will not be considered.
