Cloud Platform Engineer Prague, Czechia — Hybrid Logistics Technology | Platform Engineering | Cloud Infrastructure | Real-Time Systems Our client, a growing Logistics Technology company based in Prague, is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to build and evolve the platform supporting routing, fulfilment, and logistics applications across European operations. You'll work closely with Software and DevOps teams to create scalable, self-service infrastructure that enables engineers to deploy and operate services reliably and independently. What You'll Work On • Build and operate Kubernetes platforms on Azure • Develop cloud infrastructure using Terraform • Create platform tooling and automation in Go • Implement GitOps-based deployment and infrastructure workflows • Build self-service capabilities for software engineering teams • Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and observability • Support real-time logistics and routing applications across multiple European markets • Automate infrastructure provisioning and reduce operational overhead Core Skills • 4+ years in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or similar roles • Kubernetes • Microsoft Azure • Terraform • Go • GitOps • Strong understanding of Linux, networking, containers, and cloud-native systems Nice to Have Argo CD or Flux Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Prometheus / Grafana / OpenTelemetry Kafka or event-driven systems Backstage or Internal Developer Platforms Helm Experience supporting high-availability or real-time applications

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
