The Network Engineer with Desktop Support Capabilities will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's network infrastructure, as well as providing desktop support to end-users. Description Network Design & Implementation Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework. Perform network modelling, analysis, planning and develop technology roadmaps. Design and implement network security strategy including cloud enablement and establishing next generation routers, firewall features and capabilities. Designs and oversees virtual networks deployed on-premises and private cloud. Responsible for designing and maintaining networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), software-defined networks, virtual private networks (VPNs), wireless networks, and other data and voice communications systems Network Compliance Company network and infrastructure systems conform to company Security policies and procedures. Create new procedures in compliance with ISO standards. Drive network security efficiency & standards improvement Network Security and Firewall Design and implement security profile inside the firewall based on the App-IDs, Used-ID, content-ID, malware block, IPS etc. Implement and manage NGFWs (Palo Alto Networks, Cisco & Sophos), IDS/IPS, WIPS, NAC, security monitoring and network compliance solutions. Implement, manage, and monitor the Cisco identity service engine for controlling the access to Wi-Fi, LAN, and remote VPN Framework Follow the international framework designed to standardize the selection, planning, delivery, and maintenance of IT services within a business. Technical Support Provide desktop support to end-users, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktop and laptop computers. Ensure high availability and reliability of the network through regular monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning. Perform complex tasks on critical infrastructure upgrades, security projects and infrastructure enhancements. Provide escalation point in enhancing and troubleshooting in network, routing, and security problems. Wireless Technology Develop wireless network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization. Implemented 802.1x authentication wireless devices via Network Access Control i.e., Cisco ISE, ForeScout, FortiNAC. Demonstrated experience utilizing Wi-Fi analyzer, Wi-Fi survey software tools. Voice Technology Troubleshoot and support the voice PABX and voice gateway. Plan and implement quality of service for the voice traffic Risk Management Analyze current risks and identify potential risks in responsibility. Report the risk tailored to the relevant audience. Build risk awareness amongst team by providing support and training. Technology Research Strategic planning (medium and long term) based on company objectives to keep in line with new developments in IT. Research new technology to determine what would best support their organization in the future

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
