Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Intensive Care Nurse based at Mindspine Hospital in Godhra. The Intensive Care Nurse will provide continuous, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, managing ventilators and other life-support equipment, and responding promptly to changes in patient condition. Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and allied health professionals, assisting during emergency procedures, documenting care accurately, and following evidence-based protocols for infection control and patient safety. The role also involves communicating clearly with patients’ families, participating in shift handovers, and contributing to quality improvement and clinical education initiatives within the intensive care unit. Qualifications Strong foundation in Nursing and patient care, with the ability to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based bedside care. Competence in Critical Care Nursing and Critical Care Medicine, including management of ventilated patients, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex treatment plans. Skills in Emergency Nursing and acute Medicine, with the capacity to respond rapidly to unstable patients and support emergency interventions. Valid nursing registration/license and completion of an accredited nursing program (diploma or degree in Nursing). Previous experience in an intensive care unit or high-dependency unit is highly preferred. Knowledge of infection control practices, medication safety, and hospital clinical protocols. Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
