Your role As a Data Engineer, you will join a team responsible for developing and enhancing a global marketing data platform for one of the world's leading FMCG companies. You will play a key role in building scalable data solutions that enable advanced analytics and data-driven marketing decisions. Your tasks Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing solutions in cloud environments. Build, optimize, and support ETL pipelines, as well as data integration and transformation processes to ensure high-quality, reliable, and consistent data for analytics and reporting platforms. Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, troubleshoot production issues, support end users, and deliver new functionalities using technologies such as Databricks, Spark, and Python. Your profile 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in Python, Spark, and Databricks. Strong knowledge of SQL and practical experience using PySpark to process and transform large-scale datasets. Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions. Experience working with cloud-based data platforms; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, international environment. Professional English proficiency (B2/C1 level). If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
