Association Description The Gulf Downstream Association (GDA) was established by its Founding Companies from Saudi Aramco, Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), BAPCO Refining, Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and OQ. GDA is a non-profit organization that aims to bring leading Downstream players together to further develop the industry and draw mutual benefits from sharing knowledge and best practices. Key Responsibilities • Design and produce graphics and media for websites, social media, newsletters, presentations, brochures, Technical Courses banners, Webinar banners, and event collateral. • Create videos and presentations in coordination with GDA marketing team and GDA event organizers for display in GDA booth at exhibitions such as the IDCE. • Ensure all visual materials adhere to GDA’s brand guidelines and standards. • Convert online technical webinars into video format for uploading on GDA Knowledge Hub and YouTube. • Support the marketing Specialist by preparing media to assist their marketing drives and proposing designs/creative visuals. • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality expectations. • Prepare files for print production and liaise with external vendors as required. • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design and visual communication. • Support GDA rebranding activities and ensure all existing documents are updated to reflect the new brand logo and themes. • Maintain and organize all design assets, templates, and finalized materials in a central repository (e.g., SharePoint). Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic and media design. Professional certifications in graphic design or digital media are an advantage. Additional training in multimedia, animation, or web design is desirable. Demonstrated portfolio of work showcasing a range of design projects, including digital and print media. Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
