Job Purpose And Impact The Professional, Software Engineering job maintains and partners to design and develop software applications and systems. With limited supervision, this job collaborates with cross functional teams to implement new software features to meet user needs and business goals and upgrade existing software to improve performance and functionality through writing clean, efficient and scalable code and troubleshooting and debugging moderately complex issues. This job also participates in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with software engineering team members. Key Accountabilities SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: Partners to design and develop high quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable and efficient codes. AUTOMATION: Applies internal software deployment platform, methodologies and tools to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases. COLLABORATION: Partners with cross functional team of product managers, designers and other engineers to gather moderately complex requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Experience writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code and troubleshooting moderately complex software issues. Hands-on experience with software engineering fundamentals including testing, debugging, code reviews, version control, and deployment practices. Working understanding of business processes and outcomes, with the ability to connect technology decisions and AI opportunities to business value. Working understanding of how AI systems, including large language models, operate, their limitations, and their practical business applications. Hands-on experience with AI development tools, frameworks, or platforms to prototype, build, or integrate AI-enabled solutions in a business environment. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLM, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt design, evaluation methods, or AI orchestration patterns. Experience integrating AI capabilities into digital products, such as copilots, intelligent automation, search, recommendations, document understanding, or predictive solutions. Experience establishing controls for responsible AI adoption, including model governance, auditability, security, and monitoring.
