Role Description The Plumber role at Dent Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Bloomsburg, PA. The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, valves, and related components in residential and commercial settings. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing leaks and blockages, performing routine maintenance, completing service calls, and ensuring all work complies with local codes and safety standards. The role involves interacting with customers to explain findings, provide service recommendations, and ensure a clean and orderly work area upon completion. The Plumber collaborates with team members, follows work orders and schedules, and maintains tools and equipment in good working condition. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in plumbing installation, repair, and service across residential and/or commercial environments. Experience working with pipes, fittings, fixtures, and related materials, including safe handling and proper use of tools. Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system inspections. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen to concerns, and provide professional recommendations. Familiarity with applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices on job sites. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders. Good physical stamina, including the ability to lift moderate weights, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to your headquarters in Bloomsburg, PA. Prior experience as a plumber, plumbing apprentice, or related trade role; relevant trade school or apprenticeship training is beneficial. Certification or licensure in plumbing (where required or preferred), and willingness to participate in ongoing training.
