Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, space plans, and detailed layouts for a variety of interior projects, ensuring both functionality and visual appeal. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand requirements, preparing mood boards and material palettes, creating drawings and 3D visualizations, and coordinating with contractors and vendors on design implementation. The role involves selecting furniture, finishes, lighting, and accessories, as well as preparing design presentations and documentation that align with project timelines and budgets. The Interior Designer will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other team members to maintain design quality and consistency across all phases of work. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi. Qualifications Strong skills in interior design concept development, space planning, and selection of materials, finishes, and furniture. Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar), as well as presentation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent. Knowledge of building codes, local regulations, and industry standards relevant to interior design projects in Abu Dhabi or the wider region. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and suppliers. Strong communication and client-facing skills, including the ability to present design concepts clearly and respond to feedback constructively. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with prior experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interiors. Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to stay current with design trends, materials, and sustainable design practices. Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills considered an advantage.
