Job Summary Terralogic is looking for a passionate Python developer to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, automation solutions, and supporting DevOps initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Location: Bangalore Experience: 3+ years Work mode: Work from office (WFO) About the Role We are looking for a Python backend developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications and REST APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python development using modern backend frameworks and relational databases. Mandatory skills: ● Strong hands-on experience in Python development ● Good understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms ● Experience building REST APIs and backend services ● Familiarity with frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI ● Basic knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) Key Responsibilities ● Develop, test, and maintain robust Python-based applications ● Design and implement scalable APIs and backend services ● Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices ● Automate processes using scripting and tools ● Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance ● Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies Value-Added Skills (Good to Have) ● Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation) ● Experience with Groovy scripting (e.g., Jenkins pipelines) ● Strong knowledge of Shell scripting (Bash) ● Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes ● Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Eligibility Experience: 3–4 years in backend Python development.
