The Opportunity The Demand Marketing Manager is responsible for driving pipeline growth and revenue through the development and execution of targeted, data-driven, and creative marketing campaigns. This role involves managing demand generation programs, optimising campaign performance, and ensuring alignment between marketing and sales efforts. The Demand Marketing Manager will work with a supportive team, including marketing operations, lifecycle marketing, performance marketing, and external partners. This opportunity is based in our fully renovated Auckland office . We have a hybrid arrangement of Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in office. Tuesdays and Thursdays are work from home. What You’ll Do Demand Generation Execution Develop, implement, and manage multi-channel demand generation campaigns, including Account-Based Marketing (ABM), paid advertising, and lead nurturing programs, to generate and convert pipeline for sales teams across school, district, and state levels. Technical Ownership Oversee the setup, configuration, and optimisation of lead scoring models, lead routing rules, and campaign workflows within our marketing automation and CRM systems, in collaboration with RevOps, Marketing Operations, and Lifecycle Marketing Specialists Sales Collaboration Collaborate with the Head of Digital and the sales team to define target accounts, establish priorities, and align on shared success metrics. Develop and execute programs that deliver high-quality, sales-ready leads. Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Design, launch, and manage targeted ABM programs focused on high-value regions and strategic accounts, ensuring personalized messaging and alignment with sales engagement strategies. Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) & Buyer Journey Insights Translate market research, customer feedback, and data analysis into actionable insights that inform the development of targeted demand generation programs aligned with various stages of the buyer journey. Innovation and Testing Proactively explore and test new marketing tactics, channels, and creative approaches to effectively capture the attention of the target audience and generate demand within the competitive education technology landscape. What You’ll Bring 6+ years of experience in a software engineering role Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go) Experience working with web technologies and cloud infrastructure Familiarity with scalable backend systems and API development Comfortable with agile workflows and collaborative development Experience debugging complex systems and writing clean, maintainable code Why Kami?
