Responsibilities For Airport Security Guard Manage access points to restricted areas of the airport, verifying credentials and authorizing entry for authorized personnel only. Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas within the airport premises. Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols and procedures. Provide assistance and guidance to passengers and visitors regarding airport facilities, directions, and emergency procedures in a courteous and professional manner. Qualifications For Airport Security Guard High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security-related fields is preferred. This position required Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency due to the contractual obligations to obtain your Transport Canada Clerance. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
