Description Job Title: Scrum Master – Data Warehousing Projects Location: Pune, Chennai, Coimbatore Job Type: Full-Time/Contract Experience Level: 8+ Years About The Role We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in Data Warehousing projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, data-level dependencies, and the complexities involved in data projects. Your ability to accurately validate story points, guide Agile teams, and ensure smooth delivery will be key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, etc.) ensuring effective collaboration among team members. Manage and oversee Data Warehousing projects, ensuring adherence to Agile best practices. Accurately validate story points by understanding the technical complexity of data tasks and dependencies. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts to prioritize and refine the product backlog. Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, especially those related to data dependencies and system integration. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and driving process enhancements. Ensure clear communication across cross-functional teams, addressing challenges related to data integrity, ETL processes, and data governance. Monitor sprint progress and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines. Required Qualifications Proven experience managing Data Warehousing projects as a Scrum Master. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (ETL, OLAP, data modeling, data lakes, etc.). Hands-on knowledge of data-level dependencies and complexities in large-scale data environments. Ability to accurately estimate and validate story points for data-related tasks. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP-Agile Certified, or equivalent certification is preferred. Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills. Experience working with Agile project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc. Preferred Skills Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery). Understanding of SQL and data transformation processes. Previous experience in BI tools and data visualization is a plus. Knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements.
