Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freelance Video Editor role based in Gaya. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end post-production for a range of video projects, including importing footage, organizing media, and assembling rough and final cuts. Daily tasks include editing video according to briefs, adding transitions and effects, refining audio, and applying color grading to maintain visual consistency and brand standards. The role also involves collaborating with producers and other creatives, integrating motion graphics and graphic elements when needed, and delivering files in the required formats and resolutions. The Video Editor will be expected to manage deadlines, maintain project files, and continually refine workflows to improve efficiency and quality. Qualifications Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for various formats and platforms. Proficiency in Video Color Grading to create consistent, appealing visual styles. Ability to design and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics into video projects. Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and basic audio editing tools. Solid understanding of frame rates, codecs, aspect ratios, and export settings for digital distribution. Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and incorporate feedback constructively. Strong time management skills and ability to work on-site in Gaya in a collaborative production environment. Relevant education or training in film, media, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.
