We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer to maintain and modernize enterprise gateway applications with a strong backend focus and hands-on support for Angular frontends across legacy and current versions. You will drive refactoring, dependency upgrades, and vulnerability remediation—apply to help strengthen stability, security, and maintainability. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot backend services and REST APIs Support and enhance Angular applications across legacy and modern codebases Resolve security vulnerabilities and address code quality findings using automated tools Implement bug fixes, refactor code, and perform dependency upgrades and framework updates Improve application performance, maintainability, and security through continuous modernization Investigate and resolve production issues while maintaining high engineering standards Collaborate with technical leads, QA engineers, architects, and security teams to deliver changes safely Participate in code reviews and enforce secure coding standards and best practices Requirements 4+ years of professional experience with Java development 4+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs Experience collaborating with technical leads and cross-functional engineering teams Experience supporting enterprise applications and maintaining existing codebases Strong knowledge of security vulnerabilities and secure software development practices Strong knowledge of Angular 8+ application development and maintenance Solid TypeScript and RxJS knowledge for frontend development Solid troubleshooting and production support skills in complex environments Strong analytical skills with an ownership mindset and attention to detail Upper-Intermediate English (B2) proficiency, both written and spoken Nice to have Apigee API platform experience We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Healthcare benefits Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
