Job Title: Java Backend Developer - Kotlin Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid-3 Days onsite Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 45-50 /hour Incorporated Application Deadline: Aug 30th, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED 7+ years of hands-on experience in Backend Development with strong proficiency in Kotlin , along with experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and JavaScript/Node.js . Strong experience with JUnit, Cucumber, and BDD frameworks for unit, integration, and behavior-driven testing. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions . Strong knowledge of SOAP, REST APIs, Microservices, and Event-Driven Architecture . Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and related Azure components for building and supporting highly automated engineering platforms.
