Company Description Orbits.app is a growth platform built on the belief that meaningful progress on social media comes from authentic connections between real people. Instead of relying on bots, fake followers, or risky engagement tactics, Orbits.app focuses on safely connecting genuine Instagram users so they can support each other’s growth organically and sustainably. The platform emphasizes transparency, security, and trust, with no password sharing and no automated or fake accounts. Orbits.app is currently in an early access phase, collaborating closely with founding members to refine the experience before a broader public launch. This is an opportunity to join a small, mission-driven team shaping a product centered on real community and ethical growth. Role Description As a WordPress Developer at Orbits.app, you will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and web experiences that support our platform and marketing initiatives. You will develop and optimize themes and plugins, implement responsive layouts, and ensure consistent brand identity and user experience across all WordPress properties. Daily tasks include translating design mockups into clean, efficient code, troubleshooting performance and compatibility issues, and integrating third-party tools and APIs where needed. You will collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams to deliver user-friendly, accessible features and content updates, while maintaining strong security and scalability practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sāhīwāl. Qualifications Strong Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and implementing Responsive Web Design. Experience with Back-End Web Development for WordPress, including PHP, custom theme and plugin development, and integration with APIs. Solid Web Design and UX sensibilities, with the ability to translate design concepts into visually appealing, accessible, and user-friendly WordPress interfaces. Hands-on Web Development experience managing WordPress installations, performance optimization, security hardening, and cross-browser compatibility. Experience working with modern tooling (e.g., Git version control, build tools, staging environments) and collaborating in cross-functional teams. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently, with strong attention to detail and code quality. Familiarity with SEO best practices, analytics tools, and marketing integrations (such as forms, email services, and tracking pixels) is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

24,795 developer jobs are open right now

Here's where they are and how to stand out in your next interview.

That number includes positions in India (9,577), Poland (3,429), the United States (1,753), Singapore (787), and Brazil (779). If you're looking to move or work remotely, check which countries match your goals — then filter WorkMundi by location to see what's actually hiring near you.

Most developer ads you'll see are written in English: 18,397 of the 24,795. That doesn't tell you whether the job itself requires you to speak English or work in English daily, so read each posting carefully. Don't assume the language of the ad matches the language of the team.

The employers posting the most developer roles are Link Group (369 jobs), Upvanta (257), jobgether (226), and OfferZen (212). If you're applying to any of these, research their hiring patterns. They move fast and post often, which means they're either scaling hard or replacing people who didn't fit.

In your interview, expect this: 'Walk me through the last time you had to debug something that took you more than an hour. What was it, what did you try first, and what would you do differently?' Hiring managers ask this to see if you think systematically or just try random fixes. Have a real example ready with specifics.
