Role: VMWare Engineer Location: Irving, TX Duration: 12 Months Contract Pay Rate: $55/hr on W2 Summary We are seeking an experienced Contractor VMware Engineer to support the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of our VMware-based virtualization environment. This role will focus on maintaining stable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure while supporting ongoing projects, upgrades, and operational needs. Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) Strong experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Solid understanding of Windows and Linux server environments Working knowledge of enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and networking concepts (VLANs, NIC teaming, DNS, TCP/IP) Experience supporting production environments with high availability requirements Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues under time constraints Education & Certification Requirements VMware certifications (e.g., VCP, VCAP) Experience with cloud or hybrid environments (Azure VMware Solution, AWS, etc.) Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python) Experience with monitoring tools and infrastructure-as-code concepts Prior experience in large enterprise or regulated environments
