Role Description The Electrician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Patiala. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical diagrams, performing inspections, identifying faults, and troubleshooting electrical issues to ensure systems operate safely and effectively. The role also involves conducting routine maintenance, replacing defective components, complying with local electrical codes, and documenting work performed. Collaboration with supervisors, clients, and other trades is expected to plan work, coordinate schedules, and support safe work practices on-site. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge of electricity and basic electrical principles. Candidates should possess skills in electrical work, including wiring, installation of fixtures, and system upgrades. Candidates should possess abilities in maintenance & repair of electrical equipment and infrastructure. Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently. Candidates should possess an understanding of electrical engineering concepts relevant to practical field work. Relevant technical diploma, certification, or apprenticeship in electrical trade is preferred. Knowledge of local electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices is required. Ability to use standard electrical tools and testing instruments safely and accurately. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and capacity to work independently or in a team.
