You will join a highly experienced and collaborative team working on complex, high-volume financial systems. Key Responsibilities: Accurately record and process primary and secondary accounting documents (invoices, protocols, bank statements, expense documents, etc.) Ensure proper preparation, completeness, and legal compliance of all accounting documentation Process, reconcile, and review bank statements, cash transactions, and related accounting entries Prepare and submit VAT registers and VAT returns in accordance with statutory deadlines Take an active role in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and consolidated financial statements, in accordance with IFRS and the specific reporting requirements Prepare internal financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses to support management decision-making Perform and review intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accurate recording and elimination of intercompany balances and transactions Monitor and manage company receivables and payables, ensuring timely settlements Reconcile balances with customers, suppliers, and other counterparties, investigating and resolving discrepancies Participate in physical inventory counts and reconciliation of assets and liabilities Organize, maintain, and archive accounting documentation in line with internal policies and established retention periods Coordinate with the Group's banks and other financial institutions, including the preparation and provision of accounting and financial documentation when required Communicate and coordinate with public institutions (e.g., National Revenue Agency, National Social Security Institute, etc. ) when necessary, including the submission of VAT returns and annual tax declarations Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardization of accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures across the Group Support the implementation, adaptation, and maintenance of accounting systems and software Safeguard the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all recorded accounting information Ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of financial information across the Group Ensure full compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and financial reporting legislation and internal company policies Take financial responsibility within the scope of the role in accordance with the Bulgarian Labour Code and internal company policies Requirements: University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in an accounting role Experience in crypto, fintech, digital assets, or other technology-driven financial environments will be considered a strong advantage Previous experience with accounting for cryptocurrency and digital asset transactions will be considered a plus Experience working with multiple legal entities and/or international subsidiaries Technical & Professional Knowledge: Strong practical knowledge of IFRS Very good knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation A good understanding of cryptocurrency accounting principles and digital asset transactions is a strong plus Experience with implementation of adaptation and maintaining accounting software Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Good command of English (both written and spoken) Personal Qualities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines High level of integrity, discretion, and professional ethics What We Offer: Competitive and attractive remuneration package Opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing fintech / digital assets environment Additional health insurance MultiSport card Standard working hours with flexibility options Opportunity for hybrid or remote work Supportive and professional working environment with an experienced team 25 days of paid annual leave 1 additional paid day off for your birthday Long-term career prospects and professional development opportunities
