As a Network Engineer - BMS/EPMS, you will own and support the Operational Technology (OT) network infrastructure that carries Building Management System (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS), and facility controls traffic across multiple sites. This role will focus on designing, securing, and standardizing facility networks while partnering closely with controls engineers, operations teams, and vendors to ensure reliable and secure operations. We are looking for individuals who are energized by solving complex problems, taking ownership of critical initiatives, and working collaboratively to build systems that operate at massive scale. This role will require 20-25% travel to data center sites for project oversight Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain OT network infrastructure supporting BMS, EPMS, and facility control systems. Develop secure and segmented network architectures that enable vendor integration without compromising security. Standardize facility network designs and deployment methodologies across locations. Manage OT/IT boundary infrastructure, including firewalls, access controls, and monitoring solutions. Implement and maintain network segmentation strategies for industrial and operational environments. Troubleshoot and optimize network performance for critical facility systems. Collaborate with controls engineers, facilities teams, and third-party vendors to support operational objectives. Ensure network designs meet uptime, compliance, and audit requirements. Support network documentation, standards development, and operational best practices. Required Qualifications Experience designing, implementing, and supporting networks within OT, industrial, manufacturing, or critical facility environments. Strong understanding of industrial control system networking and associated protocols. Experience supporting or integrating Building Management Systems (BMS) and/or Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS). Knowledge of OT network segmentation, security principles, and access control strategies. Experience configuring and supporting routing, switching, and network security technologies. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with controls engineers, facilities teams, and external vendors. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting data center facility networks. Knowledge of BACnet/IP and related building automation protocols. Familiarity with IEC 62443 or other OT cybersecurity frameworks. Experience administering enterprise firewall platforms. Background in controls engineering, industrial automation, or facilities infrastructure. Experience operating networks within highly available or mission-critical environments.
