Senior IT & OT Support Engineer | Saclay, France | €57K + 5% Bonus 💰 Salary: Up to €57,000 + 5% annual bonus 📍 Location: Saclay, France 🏠 Working model: Hybrid – 2 days remote 💼 Employment: Permanent ✈️ Travel: Around 50% across France and Europe We are working with a major global pharmaceutical organisation looking for an experienced Senior IT & OT Support Engineer to join its team in Saclay. This is a hands-on position supporting both traditional IT infrastructure and Operational Technology within manufacturing and production environments . The position requires somebody comfortable working directly with business-critical production systems, troubleshooting incidents independently and supporting users, equipment and infrastructure across multiple European sites. Role Overview You will provide operational support for both IT and OT systems across production environments, helping ensure their availability, security, stability and compliance. You will work closely with central IT, manufacturing teams, engineering teams, vendors and stakeholders across Europe. What You’ll Be Doing Provide hands-on remote and on-site IT/OT support. Diagnose and resolve incidents affecting production equipment, automation systems, applications and infrastructure. Handle incidents, requests and problems through ITSM/ticketing systems against SLA/KPI targets. Support Windows, Active Directory, networking, hardware/software and asset management. Support connectivity between production equipment, automation systems and IT infrastructure. Participate in on-call support for critical production systems. Maintain, update and remediate operational IT/OT systems. Support infrastructure improvement and deployment projects. Participate in validation, qualification and audit activities. Apply cybersecurity best practices including segmentation, hardening and access management. Maintain SOPs, procedures, configurations and technical documentation. Requirements Minimum 5 years of hands-on industrial IT/OT support experience within manufacturing or production environments . Strong Windows, Active Directory, networking and infrastructure knowledge. Genuine experience supporting OT / industrial production systems , rather than purely desktop IT. Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools and incident/problem/request management. Experience working against SLA/KPI targets and escalating issues to L2/L3 when required. Good understanding of production equipment, automation systems or instrument connectivity. Cybersecurity awareness within production environments. Fluent French is mandatory. Advanced/professional English is mandatory. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work autonomously. Comfortable travelling approximately 50% across France and Europe. Comfortable participating in on-call support. Nice to Have Pharmaceutical or GxP-regulated manufacturing experience. Radiopharmaceutical / nuclear medicine environment experience.
