About The Role The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of finance team within Emerald Clinical. He/she plays a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making to support organizational goals. The Senior Financial Analyst reports directly to the head of FP&A and works closely with key senior executives to create insights into the organization for growth and improvement. Your Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial forecasts, annual budgets, and financial models to support strategic planning and business objectives. Conduct financial, variance, scenario, and sensitivity analyses to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver accurate financial reports and insights to support data-driven decision-making. Evaluate the financial viability and return on investment (ROI) of new projects and business initiatives. Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational goals and improve business performance. Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting tools, and financial planning methodologies. About You Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of finance experience, including at least 1 year in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or as a Finance Business Partner. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance reporting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders in English. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; experience with Salesforce, Certinia, or other reporting tools is preferred. Experience in a global, regulated environment such as a CRO, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organization is highly desirable. Why Join Us?
