Responsibilities Design, construct, install, and maintain large-scale processing systems and other infrastructure. Set up and manage our Amazon Redshift and other relational databases. Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices. Collaborate with data scientists on big data initiatives and participate in data modeling and design brainstorming sessions. Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures. Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track issues within data infrastructure. Monitor debugging process results and rectify data discrepancies. Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and project managers to ensure seamless data flow and reliability. Stay up-to-date with new data technologies and best practices in data engineering.
