Job description: About Us We are an established hospitality group operating multiple successful venues across Sydney, focused on delivering high-quality food, genuine hospitality and memorable dining experiences. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to join our team in a full-time capacity. About the Role As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while maintaining exceptional food safety and kitchen standards. You will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver a consistent and efficient service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard. Assist with menu development and seasonal menu changes. Monitor food quality, presentation and portion control. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Assist with ordering, stock rotation and stock control. Minimise food waste and maintain kitchen efficiency. Supervise and support junior kitchen staff where required. Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment. Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams. Essential Requirements Relevant commercial cookery qualification (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent). Minimum of two years' experience working as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchen. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required. What We Offer Full-time, stable employment.
