Data Analyst

Brief Description The Data Analyst supports data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets within a government contracting environment. This role is responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights, developing reports and visualizations, and supporting business and financial operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements Key Responsibilities Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decisions Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations Support financial and operational reporting requirements Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver solutions Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools Assist in developing data models and automated reporting processes Prepare and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable government regulations Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools) Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Strong written and verbal communication skills Additional Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen Ability to pass a pre-employment background and credit check Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance Summary Work Environment This position may be performed in an office or government site environment.
