Role Description The Registered Nurse will provide holistic, patient-centered care to senior residents, including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs and overall health status. The role involves coordinating care plans with physicians and allied health professionals, documenting clinical information accurately, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and infection control standards. The nurse will educate residents and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care, while supporting emotional well-being with empathy and respect. Additional responsibilities include responding to emergencies, assisting with daily living activities when needed, and contributing to wellness programs and group activities that foster engagement and independence. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Navi Mumbai (Nerul) and Mumbai (Vile Parle). Qualifications Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute. Valid registration with the State Nursing Council is mandatory. Clinical expertise in geriatric care, including patient assessment, medication management, and basic life support. Strong skills in documentation, electronic health records, and adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with older adults and their caregivers. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and respond calmly to urgent or emergency situations. Experience in eldercare, long-term care, or hospital settings is preferred. Willingness to participate in ongoing training, adapt to new technologies, and contribute to a collaborative, community-focused environment.
