PST // 10:00AM-7:00P.M - 11:00AM-8:00P.M COL time Contract Type: Long-term with full benefits in accordance with Colombian labor law Salary: $6.000.000 – 7.000.000COP Languages Required: Advanced English and Spanish (Bilingual) Expertise Level: 2 – 3+ years of experience. ⚠️ Important – English Requirement⚠️Candidates without advanced English proficiency (C1) will not be considered for this position Role: BI Analyst THE ROLE: The BI Analyst supports the BI Manager in maintaining and improving the company's business intelligence ecosystem — building and editing Power BI reports, writing and managing SQL views, validating data quality, and keeping BI projects organized and on track. Based remotely in Colombia and working with Colombian and international teams, this role suits a detail-driven analyst who can translate business needs into reliable, accurate reporting solutions. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Experience: 2–3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a similar role with hands-on SQL and Power BI experience. Skills: Intermediate SQL (joins, aggregations, Common Table Expressions - CTEs). Hands-on experience with Power BI, including report development, DAX measures, and basic data modeling. Advanced Excel skills for data validation, formatting, and analysis. Strong written English communication skills. Experience with Python, ETL concepts, data pipelines, or project management tools (such as Monday.com) is a plus. Characteristics: Highly detail-oriented and committed to data accuracy. Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently. Organized and reliable with excellent follow-through. Proactive mindset with a willingness to recommend process improvements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Make edits and updates to existing Power BI reports as business needs evolve — including layout changes, new calculations/measures (DAX), and basic data model adjustments (relationships, table structure) Run data validation and quality checks to ensure reports and pipelines are producing accurate, trustworthy results Write and edit SQL views — including joins, aggregations, and CTEs — that feed our Power BI reports, going beyond basic querying to shape and maintain the underlying data logic Assist with documentation of data models, pipelines, and report logic so institutional knowledge is captured and accessible Support ad-hoc data requests from business stakeholders, pulling and formatting data efficiently and accurately Assist with building and formatting new reports from defined specifications, while bringing forward suggestions that improve clarity or usability Track and manage the progress of active BI projects — keeping tasks organized, timelines on track, and stakeholders informed so nothing falls through the cracks Success in This Role Looks Like: Reports and data pipelines consistently produce accurate, trustworthy results SQL views and Power BI reports are well-maintained and updated in step with business needs Ad-hoc requests are delivered efficiently and correctly BI projects stay organized with timelines met and stakeholders kept informed Documentation is current and accessible to the team Process improvement suggestions are proactively raised and acted upon
