We are currently seeking a Civil & Structural Designer to join our design team in Bangkok. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating civil and structural design deliverables, including BIM models, engineering drawings, and project documentation to support multidisciplinary project execution. The role will work closely with engineers, BIM specialists, and project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions while supporting AFRY's commitment to innovation, digitalisation, and sustainable project delivery. Job Description Prepare and develop civil, structural, and infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, TEKLA Structures, and related design software. Produce 3D models, construction drawings, layouts, sections, details, and design documentation in accordance with project requirements. Develop site layouts, grading plans, road alignments, utility systems, drainage networks, and earthwork models as required. Create and maintain BIM models and participate in multidisciplinary design coordination activities. Assist engineers in the preparation of design packages, material take-offs, quantity calculations, and technical documentation. Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines to ensure design consistency and constructability. Participate in model reviews, clash detection exercises, and design coordination meetings. Ensure drawings and models comply with applicable design standards, project specifications, and quality procedures. Support engineering and construction teams by incorporating design revisions, responding to comments, and maintaining project documentation. Maintain drawing registers, model databases, and digital project information in accordance with company BIM and document control standards. Qualifications Education Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Technology, Drafting, BIM, or a related discipline. Experience Minimum 2–5 years of experience in civil design drafting, BIM modelling, or engineering design support. Experience in industrial, infrastructure, building, power, energy, or EPC projects is preferred. Experience preparing civil, structural, utility, or site development drawings and models. Technical Competencies Knowledge of civil and structural drafting principles, construction drawings, and engineering documentation. Understanding of site development, grading, drainage, utility systems, foundations, and structural detailing. Familiarity with BIM workflows, drawing standards, and multidisciplinary project coordination. Software Skills AutoCAD Autodesk Civil 3D Revit Preferred: TEKLA Structures Navisworks BIM coordination and model review tools Other Skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. Basic to intermediate English communication skills.
