Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region What you have Required skills :- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of development using a Microsoft technology stack, including .NET and C# with exposure to financial industry 2+ years of experience with containerized platform such as Pivotal Cloud foundry (PCF) 2+ years of experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases. Strong experience with object-oriented programming concepts, including algorithms and data structures. Strong experience writing unit and integration tests. Experience with scripting languages and efficient storage and retrieval techniques Exposure in Tools such as GitHub, Jira, Rally. Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or equivalent) to improve productivity, code quality, and development efficiency within the SDLC. Practical understanding of Generative AI concepts and how to apply them responsibly in day-to-day engineering workflows, including code generation, refactoring, documentation, and test support. Ability to collaborate effectively in AI-augmented development environments, leveraging AI tools while maintaining strong engineering judgment, code reviews, and quality standards. Experience applying automation and AI-driven approaches to improve existing systems, workflows, or operational processes. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging AI capabilities, tooling, and industry best practices relevant to software development and system modernization. Experience with Messaging technologies such as kafka/MQ Some exposure/knowledge of AI & AI based automation (exposure to GitHub Copilot preferred along with some Python skills) Proven track record of delivering on the design & development of complex, enterprise-level software systems and in providing exemplary support post-deployment/Production Support & Remediation. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Preferred Skills :- Experience as a developer on an agile scrum team is a plus. That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
