What You Can Expect At OrthoGrid Systems, we develop advanced software that assists orthopedic surgeons during image-guided procedures. Our products combine computer vision, artificial intelligence, and medical imaging to deliver real-time clinical guidance that improves surgical accuracy and patient outcomes. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering safety-critical medical software. You will collaborate with experts in software engineering, AI, medical imaging, and quality engineering to build products used in operating rooms around the world. How You'll Create Impact Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions primarily using C++, Qt and Python. Contribute to software architecture, technical design, and technology selection. Build, package, and deploy software through automated CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate machine learning models into production software. Work closely with Product, QA, UX, and Regulatory teams throughout the development lifecycle. Deploy and optimize applications on dedicated Linux-based medical systems. Design software with cybersecurity, reliability, and regulatory compliance in mind. Produce and maintain professional-level technical documentation covering architecture, implementation, deployment, and maintenance activities. Experience participating in code reviews and collaborative development workflows. Understanding of cybersecurity principles for software systems. Familiarity with Secure Boot, TPM, secure key management, and Linux system security. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing medical device software. Experience working within IEC 62304 development processes. Experience supporting FDA or MDR submissions. Experience with ISO 13485 and ISO 14971. Experience deploying AI/ML models into production environments. Experience supporting software verification, validation, audits, and regulatory compliance. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
