About the role We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with expertise in frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, SQL, JavaScript, Servlet, CSS, HTML, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). The role demands a passion for software development, an ability to solve complex technical problems, and a focus on building scalable, high-performance solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and define technical requirements for web-based applications. Implement front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks. Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to interact with relational databases. Collaborate with both local and global development teams to design, build, and deploy enterprise-level applications. Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Develop RESTful APIs for integration with external systems. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring applications are secure, scalable, and performant. Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices and technical challenges. Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality. What are we looking for ?Strong experience with Java development (at least 3+ years) .Expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) .Proficiency in Hibernate for ORM and data persistence .Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) .Strong front-end development skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .Solid understanding of Servlet technology and web application architecture .Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles .Familiarity with React.js is a strong plus .Experience with version control tools such as Git .Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail .Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment .Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) .Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud, Groovy and Apache Solr is a strong plus .Experience with high volume transactional websites is beneficial .
