About the role Following our successful expansion into the U.S. and continued growth across Europe, we are seeking a Senior Backend Developer (Delta Team) to help drive our Operations function from our Barcelona hub. This person will play a critical role in building Biorce’s internal software infrastructure, starting with our CRM Leadro. Leadro is Biorce's in-house AI-native CRM and the system of record for our commercial engine: LLM-driven workflows, data orchestration across our GTM stack, and deep third-party integrations. You'll own backend systems end to end and shape the architecture as we scale. Who We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate has 6+ years in software development and architecture, with real ownership of production systems. Someone with a track record of taking ambiguous problems from design through documentation to delivery, and experience mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions. This person should be able to own backend systems end to end and help the team deliver fast without breaking things. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and own Leadro's core backend services, from data models to APIs Build and maintain deep third-party integrations across our GTM stack Ship LLM-powered features: agentic workflows, enrichment pipelines, and intelligent automation Set technical direction for the backend, lead design reviews, and raise the bar on code quality through rigorous code review and clean code practices Mentor engineers and help the team deliver fast without breaking things ✅ Must-haves 6+ years in software development and architecture, with real ownership of production systems A track record of taking ambiguous problems from design through documentation to delivery Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions CS degree or equivalent practical experience Expert-level Node.js and TypeScript in production backend systems, including NestJS Strong data architecture skills: complex data modeling, relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and warehouses like BigQuery API design and development (REST, GraphQL), including building and maintaining third-party integrations Hands-on experience shipping LLM-based workflows or agentic systems Modern engineering practices: code review culture, clean code principles, CI/CD, Docker and Docker Compose, and automated testing Experience with major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) — GCP is our primary platform Proficiency with tools like Confluence and Jira ✨ Nice-to-Haves Distributed and event-driven patterns: Redis, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, serverless Authentication, authorization, and identity management (OAuth, SSO, RBAC) Python Experience with React, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap is a plus.
