A Finance Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing insights that help management make informed business decisions. The role works closely with finance, accounting, and business teams to monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth. This position is 100% onsite. About The Job Location: Milpitas, CA [Onsite] Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt Department: Finance Reports To: VP Of Finance Responsibilities: Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Monitor actual results against budgets and forecasts and explain variances. Develop financial models to support strategic and operational decisions. Perform profitability, cost-benefit, and investment analyses. Support month-end and year-end financial close processes. Create dashboards and presentations for management review. Identify risks, opportunities, and areas for process improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Requirements: Education/Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA, CFA, CPA, or related professional certification preferred. Experience (Years & Fields) Requires 4+ years of related experience. Skills/Competencies Soft Skills: Decision making Communication Project management Innovation Teamwork skills Problem-solving skills Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, etc.). Preferably QAD Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools. Knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes. Experience in data analysis and automation tools such as Power Query or Python.
