Legal Fellow (Spring 2027)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Legal Fellow (Spring 2027) based in India. This fellowship offers current law students and recent law graduates an immersive opportunity to gain practical in-house legal experience in a global, technology-driven environment. You will work on a diverse range of legal matters spanning internet law, intellectual property, licensing, privacy, freedom of expression, and corporate compliance. Fellows receive meaningful, individualized projects aligned with their interests and strengths, with the opportunity to take ownership from research through execution. You will work closely with experienced legal professionals, participate in internal and external meetings, and gain insight into the practical realities of in-house legal practice. The role is particularly suited to someone passionate about free knowledge, open source, digital rights, and the legal questions shaping the internet. You will collaborate with colleagues and communities across different cultures, jurisdictions, and backgrounds in a highly transparent and mission-driven environment. The Spring fellowship runs for 18 weeks and provides a strong foundation for developing practical legal and professional skills.
